At Arista Recovery, we treat individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Arista Recovery offers many different treatment programs and levels of care. Addiction treatment programs can be completed in multiple phases.
Our admissions team will help you determine which treatment program is the best fit for you or your loved one. Treatment begins with a phone call and a complete evaluation of addiction history, current use, and mental health. Once the pre-assessment and insurance verification are complete, our addiction specialists will determine your treatment program.
Partial hospitalization programs are intensive treatment programs where patients attend scheduled therapy and activities throughout the day and return home at night. PHP is a step down from inpatient or residential treatment. If a client does not need or cannot commit to inpatient treatment, PHP is always available as a first step. Clients in PHPs attend treatment at our outpatient facility all day and return home at night. If a patient needs more addiction services than an outpatient program will lend, and inpatient is too restrictive for their circumstances, PHP may be the best option.
Intensive outpatient programs are a step down from partial hospitalization, but more intensive than general outpatient. IOP patients attend sessions a few hours per day several days per week based on need. IOPs provide more flexibility and allow clients to get back to work, spend time with friends and family, and back in a daily routine. Intensive outpatient treatment teaches and allows clients to utilize coping skills, life skills, and career skills. Most intensive outpatient programs involve group therapy led by licensed professionals each day of the week. Clients will not attend therapy all day, but will instead choose morning or evening sessions.
Outpatient rehab, or OP, is available for those who may not be able to attend an inpatient program or as a step down from residential rehab. Outpatient drug rehab and alcohol treatment programs offer flexible treatment options and support groups for those who have completed inpatient care and are looking for support through the recovery process. Outpatient rehab treatment is less intensive than inpatient and may be a good option for those with less severe substance use issues.
Arista’s outpatient facility in Overland Park, Kansas focuses on different forms of therapy such as CBT, DBT, group therapy, and trauma therapy. Our outpatient clients attend counseling sessions during the week. We also work with clients to develop a strong aftercare plan once treatment has ended to maintain sobriety.
It is not uncommon for individuals recovering from substance abuse to have co-occurring disorders and receive a dual diagnosis. Arista Recovery provides treatment for both addiction and mental or behavioral health disorders. Treatment plans take into consideration both substance use and mental health. For example, someone suffering from opioid addiction may also have PTSD. Therapy is used in conjunction with addiction treatment.
Aftercare programs are essential for long-term sobriety. There are various aftercare programs available for those in recovery. Arista Recovery’s team will help form an aftercare plan based on specific needs, location, and available resources. Without a strong aftercare plan, the chance of relapse is significantly greater. Aftercare includes 12-step meetings, therapy, addiction support group, sponsorship, and more.
Addiction treatment is a step-by-step process and typically occurs in phases. The treatment process includes pre-assessment and intake, where our addiction specialists will gather important information to get a better understanding of your situation and determine which program is best for you.
Once you have completed the pre assessment, our admissions specialists will verify your insurance benefits. Once you have decided to take the step towards recovery at Arista, our admissions team will determine your treatment plan, schedule your admission appointment, provide you with a list of items to bring, and coordinate transportation for you if necessary.
