Study Overview

We evaluated whether recovery capital and baseline depression severity were associated with favorable discharge outcomes among individuals in residential SUD treatment. Higher recovery capital at admission was associated with increased odds of favorable discharge, while baseline depression severity was not significantly associated with the outcome in the adjusted analysis.

Observational associations; no causal inference. Statistical superiority over depression severity was not established.
