Family Support Program Demo
When your loved one enters treatment for substance use or mental health, the clinical team surrounds them with care every single day. Meanwhile, you're at home managing everything else: the stress, the uncertainty, the hope. At Arista Recovery, we believe families deserve that same level of support.
"We see it time and again — a client completes treatment feeling grounded and ready to move forward, while their family has been carrying a heavy load alone at home. That gap, left unaddressed, can put recovery at risk. Our Family Support Program is how we bridge it."

Family Support for Addiction & Mental Health
WHY FAMILY SUPPORT FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER MATTERS
Addiction and mental health affect the whole family.
Substance use disorder and mental health conditions don't exist in a vacuum. They affect individuals and ripple through the lives of family members, loved ones, and close friends. They reshape relationships, create patterns of stress and codependency, and leave family members with their own trauma to process.
Understanding that addiction alters brain chemistry, not a simple lack of willpower, is important for reducing stigma and judgment. When a loved one returns home from treatment, they've had weeks of daily therapy and clinical support, but families are often still right where they started.
Learning accurate information can help families speak more constructively when dealing with a loved one's substance use. Our program is designed so that when that moment of reunion arrives, everyone is moving in the same direction.
WHAT'S INCLUDED FOR FAMILY MEMBERS
Three pillars of family support.
A dedicated call every week to provide resources, guidance, and a consistent point of connection throughout your loved one's treatment.
A structured weekly meeting led by a licensed interventionist and clinician — offered in person and virtually, so you can join wherever you are. These support groups create a safe place for relatives and other loved ones to share, build coping skills, and avoid feeling alone. Families may also explore Al-Anon and Al-Anon Alateen as additional options that offer support during recovery.
Once a month, families come together on-site to participate in the recovery process alongside their loved one in a structured, guided setting.
Curated books, podcasts, and self-help tools selected specifically for families navigating SUD and mental health recovery, including online information and educational resources that help families stay informed.

HOW TREATMENT OPTIONS WORK
Enrollment in our Family Support Program begins with a one-time relationship assessment. This gives our team a baseline understanding of where you are emotionally, relationally, and practically so that every weekly call and resource we provide is tailored to your specific situation, your family communication patterns, boundary-setting needs, and the home expectations that will support recovery.
A one-time intake assessment to understand your relationship dynamic, identify needs, establish a personalized baseline for your support journey, and identify situations where firmer boundaries are needed to prevent enabling.
Throughout your loved one’s stay, we will connect with you regularly to provide resources, support, and space to process your own experience. These conversations can help families navigate difficult discussions, improve communication, reduce judgment, and better support recovery at home. Our support does not end at discharge. We will continue to check in with you throughout your loved one’s first year of recovery to provide guidance, resources, and encouragement.
Join other families in a clinician-led group session, available in person or virtually, to share, learn, and heal alongside others who understand.
Participate in our monthly on-site family weekend to reconnect with your loved one and prepare together for life after treatment.
Weekly calls may include: book recommendations, podcast suggestions, self-help tools, processing space, intervention guidance, boundary-setting support, creating a clear no-substances rule at home, understanding when allowing natural consequences is healthier than rescuing, and open Q&A.
